This weekend, in the United Kingdom, Commonwealth countries and our beloved Channel Islands, millions of people will be celebrating the Queen’s 60 years on the throne.
Of the many beacons being lit, one of them will be in my home island of Jersey at St
Clement’s Church, the most southerly Parish Church in the British Isles.
With numerous fun events, shows and fireworks galore, we shall all be celebrating for 4 days and 4 nights.
But, what to wear for our Queen’s Jubilee, I hear you ask?
What better way to show our patriotism this weekend than by wearing the three colours of the Union Jack flag: red, white and blue?
I always advise not to wear more than three colours together on an outfit and these three go perfectly together. I often wear them myself; they always work. Let’s not forget these are also the colours of my own country’s flag: Le Drapeau Tricolore.
For this patriotic and fun weekend, it will be easy to pull an outfit together and get it right.
You will get some smart ideas from the article below:
Street Party Chic
For casual street fun, the easiest way to pull these colours together is to add a splash of red and white (top/shirt, shoes, belt, jacket) with your favourite blue jeans. Très facile.
Have a fabulous long weekend,
Vive La Reine!
