One simple tip today for days when you don't feel like making an effort on your appearance, but rather drag yourself around in your pyjamas, or other comfortable but rather frumpy clothes you wear on these occasions.
If you tend to wear leggings, please watch the previous video I recorded about them. In a nutshell, ditch them! Chic and elegant women do not wear leggings, as you well know.
So, what can you do when, at a weekends or days off, you feel down, don't feel good in yourself and have no energy?
Read on to find out exactly what you should do to get out of this downward spiral from meh to blah to no confidence:
- Jump now in the shower!
- Wash your hair
- Blow-dry your hair as if you're going out (you never know, you might want to go out after that)
- Put a bit of makeup on
- Go to your closet and pick something nice! A dress or a skirt with a lovely top
- Put some jewellery on
- Apply bright red lipstick
- A spritz of your best perfume
"But why Marie-Anne?" You may ask. "It's the weekend or my day off! Why should I make an effort?"
Well, it's simple really. If you don't make an effort, you will be dragging your feet, wearing horrible clothes... You will not feel good!
And do you know what else it will do? It will sap your confidence!
But if you make an effort, look at yourself in the mirror and say "ooh I look good today", it will make you smile. It will raise your confidence levels. When you feel good in yourself, it shows on the outside.
So, please ditch your pyjamas and your leggings and put something nice on!
Yes, even if you're staying at home!
Make an effort.
It doesn't take much but it will have such an impact on your self-confidence.
