The tip I talk about today is one of the style tips I've been sharing in my book How to be Chic & Elegant, since 2011, which is COST PER WEAR.
The tip I talk about today is one of the style tips I've been sharing in my book
How to be Chic & Elegant, since 2011.

This important tip is COST PER WEAR.

Once you know the difference between the price of an item and its cost per wear, you will be able to afford more expensive pieces. I explain the principle in this video.

Simply put, you divide the price of an item by the number of times it has been worn. The number you get is its cost per wear.

For instance, a $50 dress will cost you $50 per wear if you only wear it once. However, the $100 dress that you think is expensive, might cost you only $10 per wear, if worn 10 times because you love it so much!

So, next time you go shopping, keep this principle in mind. What matters most, more than its price tag, is the cost per wear of an item. So in future, choose wisely.
