I like nothing better than warmer temperatures to wear bright colours and get out of my winter clothes. This winter has been especially miserable and endless. So, it is high time to switch our winter wardrobe for our spring-summer one.
Keeping your look simple is how to be chic and elegant. The outfit that I put together here is beautiful by its simplicity.
The flattering cut of this red Fifties-style dress will suit most shapes.
You will find that the fitted bodice will enhance your cleavage and make the most of your waist. Any lumps and bumps will disappear under the flared skirt, maintaining elegance.
The just-below-the-knee length is flattering, especially worn with heels. However, worn with flats, this is a look très Audrey Hepburn.
Pair this dress with black & white accessories, for a classic but never boring, look. A dash of black mascara, eyeliner and luscious lipstick and you are good to go.
I think it was the American fashion designer Bill Blass who said: 'When in doubt, wear red'. Who are we to disagree?
Enjoy le printemps.
